Spawanie TIG to metoda spawania nietopliwą elektrodą wolframową w osłonie gazów obojętnych takich jak argon, hel lub mieszanki argonu i helu.

Spawanie metodą TIG  cechuje się wysoką dokładnością, sprawdza się w szczególności w spawaniu cienkich elementów, nawet poniżej 1mm. Metoda ta zapewnia bardzo wysokiej jakości spoiny - mała grubość, estetyka, brak odprysków, wysoką wydajność.
